LSFF Young Programmer


I joined the LSFF team ahead of the sixteenth edition of their brilliant short film festival, assisting the team with various programming tasks in the run up to the festival, and looking at how best to target young people interested in short form fiction and non-fiction content.

Three Young Men on a Bench


An experimental microshort made on a shoestring budget that examines rural black masculinity through the abstract recreation of an old family photograph. Directed by me and featuring the narration of my uncle, who took the photograph that inspired by the film.

I wrote a personal essay for MANDEM about the making of, and the meanings, behind Three Young Men on a Bench. It communicates my thoughts that may not be easily interpreted due to the abstract nature of the film.

Seven Stages


Exploring the theatrics of modern masculinity through the synthesis of a drag king, a working men’s club and a Shakespearean monologue.

Made as a part of the Arts Council England funded First Acts scheme and premiered as a part of Playback Festival 2018 at the ICA.

Playback Festival 2018


Ahead of Playback Festival 2018, I produced and hosted a one-off radio show for Resonance FM, which was a series of conversations with young creatives from across England about their filmmaking experiences.
